A successful photoshoot starts with feeling comfortable.

Understanding the common insecurities many women face, I provide pose coaching throughout your entire photo shoot, from your facial expression, down to what to do with your hands and posture.

There’s many little tricks that are important when it comes to posing, and it’s definitely NOT as simple as “look at the camera and smile”. BUT that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have any fun while we work. There will be laughter, there always is.

I also understand that this is an investment that goes beyond just your money. It’s your time and how you feel about yourself during your session and when you see your final images too. My favorite part is showing you how not-scary, but actually fun a session can be, how quick the process is and, of course, your flawless final images in the end.

What to Expect from Working with Lucid Linds

No Modeling Experience Needed

I am coaching you through poses, ensuring you don’t have a hair out of place, and showing you exactly what to do. Even if you haven’t had a photo shoot before, it will look like you have done this a million times.

The Process

  • Step 1: Start the Conversation

    To inquire about booking a session, for more information, available dates & times, and choosing the studio or preferred Lucid Linds locations for your session you will start by filling out my contact form here.

    After I receive your contact information I will reach out via email, phone or text (your choice) to give you all of the information you need for deciding if I am the right photographer for you. There is no obligation to book after receiving more information. We will discuss your ideas and your goals for your session to ensure that your photoshoot is exactly what you envision and more. Not sure where to begin? I will guide you through the entire process, making this super easy.

  • Step 2: Booking

    By this step you have received all of the information regarding booking, available dates, times, payments, what to expect, the location/s that will best fit for your photoshoot and image goals. You will receive an invoice via to pay online for 50% of your session package fee is due at the time of booking and acts as a retainer for the time and date of your session.

    Next you receive a session confirmation and your session prepping and planning guide. Inside the guide you will find: tips to prepare for your photoshoot, the address, and suggested professional hair & makeup & wardrobe stylists if you wish to hire someone to elevate your photoshoot to the max.

  • Step 3: Session Day & Receiving Images

    I fully understand the nervousness that comes along with having your picture taken. That is completely normal for most people. You will be pleasantly surprised how easy I will make being in front of the camera. I will guide you the entire time throughout your session. Everyone always leaves the session telling me how much fun they just had. It happens EVERY TIME, no joke.

    After your photoshoot you will receive your final, fully edited images in an online gallery via email, where you will view and pick your favorite images for downloading. Prints and products, like framed art are also available to order online. Your gallery arrive 7-14 days after your session.

    Inside your session prepping guide which you will receive after booking, you will find the exact address and directions.

  • 7-14 days after your session your images will be ready. (During slower seasons its often even sooner). I’m always just as excited to show you your images as you are to see them!

  • Yes! I always retouch images by lightly softening skin, removing blemishes, and touching up puffiness or dark circles under the eyes. I edit with a woman’s eye, meaning, have no fear, I got you ;).

  • No, but after you book you will receive a Welcome Guide that includes professional hair and makeup artists in Nashville, TN that I highly recommend. I do recommend hiring a hair and makeup stylist before your session if you aren’t 100% confident in styling your own hair and makeup. False lashes will really make your eyes pop! Just make sure your false lashes are on properly, or hire a pro to do it for you. Photoshoot-ready hair and makeup can make a huge difference in your images.

  • Yes! If you are unsure about what to wear for your session, I am happy to help. What you wear for your specific session is so important. You can always text or email me pictures of the outfits you are considering, even pieces you are considering to purchase online before you order, and I will give you my honest opinion. I typically advise against neon colors or really busy patterns unless that fits the vibe for your photo shoot.

    You will also find local wardrobe stylists recommendations in your Welcome Guide that you will receive after booking.

    I also have a small client wardrobe closet that you are welcome to. Sizes and styles vary. However, I can not guarantee that there is something in your size or I may have the perfect piece to complete a look.

  • To date I have never had anyone not love their images. However, should that happen I will offer you another session or a refund minus any processing fees and costs that I have accrued.

  • Yes! Most of my preferred outdoor locations are near my studio In Smyrna, TN. I’m surrounded by water and wide open fields. Some locations are only accessible during certain seasons of the year. I will also travel, but there may be an additional fee depending on how far away it is.

  • Absolutely. If the weather for your outdoor session is not ideal we will reschedule your photo shoot.

  • My custom, vintage/bohemian styled school bus is located behind my studio in Smyrna, TN.
