Any photographer can most likely agree with me on this one…it’s tough deciding what you want to shoot to try to make a living when you are first starting out, but they say you have to “pick a niche”. I’m a multi-passionate, multi-vision artist so it’s been tough to “niche-out”, but I’ve finally found my direction with creative commercial photography. The images in this series are just some of my favorite shots from my journey in this industry. Every image should express a message, whether that message is that you are a badass, an artist, a business, or just in a time in your life worth remembering. I’m always looking for creative opportunities with my camera in my hand and so the journey continues... ;)
Here are my Top 20 Favs (in no particular order) since I’ve picked up a camera.
Life is short, break the rules, do what makes you happy and live it up my friends!
Talk to you soon,
By now you are probably aware that the Instagram algorithm isn’t totally working in our favor when we are marketing our amazing brands and businesses by posting on our feeds. Our hopes for the organic *cough, cough* more importantly free reach we all so desperately want for our posts seems to be hit or miss for some of us while others seem to be killing it. So what are these IG masters doing differently than us?
I’m a business owner, photographer and I have a team of influencers I work with consistently too. I’m fascinated by the power of social media influence in the marketing industry. I have spent years studying social media and the influencer industry. I love watching business owners gain massive traction when they can use social media to their advantage. And after working with so many incredibly driven and hard working people I’ve also become a huge advocate for influencers who dedicate hours upon hours perfecting their influence. I want to help educate the aspiring influencer on what it really takes to do this the right way. I’m also out bring awareness to more brands and businesses on how valuable influencers are and why they are worth the rates the ask for. More than anything I’d like to help stop the madness of the “here’s coupon to buy something from me [the brand] as a thanks for providing me FREE ADVERTISEMENT) I literally cringe just typing that!!!
I was asked by Wine Society to create and provide some images for a Halloween themed cocktail featuring their delicious red wine blend, Tempt for a collaboration with Thirsty Mag.
Anyone who knows me knows this was so up my alley I was giddy about it. Halloween is my favorite and I had a reason to play with dry ice? Insert * heart eyes *

“Not knowing how it would turn out I thought my best bet was to use something I could get for cheap, or free *cough cough*, and something I could recycle...even better. I hopped on Pinterest, looked at a few similar projects and decided to just go for it. I had two days off, it was 6am, I knew where I could grab some pallets outside of some warehouses in the nearby industrial parks, I have a truck and all the tools I needed, so off I went.”
