About Lucid Linds
“Working with Linds was so completely painless & easy! It was like we had known her forever. Linds is such a sweet down to earth person. She coached us & told us exactly what she was wanting us to do for each picture. The pictures turned out amazing! I can't wait to work with her again in the future! She ROCKS!” - Carly Lee, Urban Mills Boutique Owner/Retail Manager
My Business Side:
I’ve always been someone who craves constant creativity. Creating unique and visually-inspiring spaces led me to set design. In 2012, I assisted my older sister in starting a boudoir photography studio. Over time the position as “set designer” turned into on-set pose coaching, lighting assistant, and tons more. Besides these important skills, starting that business with my sister taught me 2 things: Being an entrepreneur is hard work and I like taking pictures of more than just women in lingerie, though I have shot for a lingerie brand so I totally nailed that shoot. Ha!
After 5 years of working inside of the boudoir studio, my focus changed to branding, advertising and creative commercial photography. I love the challenge that comes with a specific brand’s needs, no shoot is ever the same, I truly enjoy that. I have also created new innovative ways to help business owners market and advertise their brand’s better by using my social media influencer team to help extend your reach, LLIMBS.
Whether I’m shooting inside my studio, standing at the top of a waterfall, walking down the infamous Broadway here in Nashville or shooting in a sandstorm atop a sand dune in Death Valley National Park (it was dreamy…and really sandy!), all I ever want to do is get “that shot”. My constant craving to create leads me to believe that I have found exactly what I was meant to do. #rad
My more personal side:
Things I love: my musically inclined and super supportive husband, my 20 lb cat and cat-loathing dog, my 100+ house plants, decorating, and obviously my camera. I'm a bit of a workaholic, but creating is what fuels me everyday. I try to practice gratitude daily for how lucky I am to get to do what I love for a living, but wish I would get my butt on my yoga mat more often than I do! There are only a few things I really loathe: winter, when someone suggests I can't do something, and when I forget to charge the battery for my power drill. 3 phrases my friends use to describe me are: “curiously creative”, “honest” (sometimes to a fault) and “driven” (also sometimes to a fault). Thanks friends...I think? Ha!
