“Working with Linds was so completely painless & easy! It was like we had known her forever. Linds is such a sweet down to earth person. She coached us & told us exactly what she was wanting us to do for each picture. The pictures turned out amazing! I can't wait to work with her again in the future! She ROCKS!” Carly Lee, Urban Mills Boutique Owner/Retail Manager
My Business Side:
I’ve always been someone who craves constant creativity. My first love in the creative arts was design, specifically interior design. From the time I was 18 and out on my own I found myself rearranging and decorating the different spaces I lived in over and over and over again…and I still do. Creating unique and visually inspiring spaces led me to set design. In 2012 I assisted my older sister in starting a boudoir photography studio, my job was to be our set designer. The position as “set designer” turned into on-set pose coaching, lighting assistant and tons more. Starting that business with my sister also taught me endless amounts about business and the hard work that goes into starting a business. After 5 years of working inside of that kind of photography studio I learned what my tastes and styles are for my own photography. My focus is branding, advertising and creative commercial photography for female entrepreneurs who sell a product or service. I have also created two new out-the-box programs helping business owners find it easier to market and advertise on social media as it has become “the way of the world we live in now”. Did someone say, “Instagram”?
I combine my love for set design with my love for creative photography in my studio, but I travel too. I’ve realized what my true style is…creating an image that stops people in their tracks. Whether I’m shooting inside my studio, standing at the top of a waterfall, walking down the infamous Broadway here in Nashville or shooting in a sandstorm atop a sand dune in Death Valley National Park all I ever want to do is get “that shot”. The constant need to create leads me to believe that I have found exactly what I was meant to do...finally.
My more personal side:
Things I love; my husband, my little fam, my pets, my plants, set design and obviously my camera. I'm a bit of a workaholic, but creating is what fuels me everyday. I try to practice gratitude daily for how lucky I am to get to do what I love for a living, but wish I would get my butt on my yoga mat more often than I do. There are only a few things I really loathe; winter, when someone suggests I can't do something, and when I forget to charge the battery for my power drill. 3 phrases my friends use to describe me: “curiously creative”, “honest” (sometimes to a fault) and “driven” (also sometimes to a fault). Thanks friends...I think? Ha!
