“Working with Linds was so completely painless & easy! It was like we had known her forever. Linds is such a sweet down to earth person. She coached us & told us exactly what she was wanting us to do for each picture. The pictures turned out amazing! I can't wait to work with her again in the future! She ROCKS!” Carly Lee, Urban Mills Boutique Owner/Retail Manager
My Business Side:
I’ve always been someone who craves constant creativity. My first love in the creative arts was design, specifically interior design. From the time I was 18 and out on my own I found myself rearranging and decorating the different spaces I lived in over and over and over again…and I still do. Creating unique and visually inspiring spaces led me to set design. In 2012 I assisted my older sister in starting a boudoir photography studio, my job was to be our set designer. The position as “set designer” turned into on-set pose coaching, lighting assistant and tons more within the wonderful world of photography. Starting that business with my sister also taught me endless amounts about business and the hard work that goes into starting a business. After 5 years of working inside of that kind of photography studio I learned what my tastes and styles are for my own photography. I now combine my old love for set design with my new love for commercial photography in my own studio, but it doesn’t stop there. I’ve been so lucky to land gigs that require me to travel too. Once I got to shooting more of what I love inside commercial photography, I realized what my true style is…creating an image that stops people in their tracks. Whether I’m shooting inside my studio, standing at the top of a waterfall, walking down the infamous Broadway here in Nashville or shooting in a sandstorm atop a sand dune in Death Valley National Park all I ever want to do is get “that shot”. The constant need to create leads me to believe that I have found exactly what I was meant to do...finally. And that is to produce images that people and businesses are proud to use for their own brand’s needs. My focus is commercial photography for businesses who sell a product or service, but I also work with many social media influencers and bloggers who also work for different brands. I have created a few new out-the-box programs too, helping business owners find it easier to market and advertise on social media as it has become “the way of the world we live in now”. Did someone say, “Instagram”?
Right now I live and breathe what I do because it is my constant source of creative satisfaction and I truly hope it stays with me forever.
My more personal side:
Things I love; my husband, my little fam, my pets, my plants, set design and obviously my camera. I'm a bit of a workaholic, but creating is what fuels me everyday. I try to practice gratitude daily for how lucky I am to get to do what I love for a living, but wish I would get my butt on my yoga mat more often than I do. There are only a few things I really loathe; winter, when someone suggests I can't do something, and when I forget to charge the battery for my power drill. 3 phrases my friends use to describe me: “curiously creative”, “honest” (sometimes to a fault) and “driven” (also sometimes to a fault). Thanks friends...I think? Ha!
