about ME

Here’s a bit about me. My journey into the photography industry has been road with a few imaginative detours. Since 2012, I've worn many hats—working in set design, creative direction, and even coaching models for other photographers. It's been a whirlwind ride that has shaped my path.

In 2017, I officially added the title of “professional photographer” when I started using my eye for inventive photography and opened my own business, Lucid Linds Photography. Since then, my camera has been my trusty sidekick, as I have snapped my way through many different genres of photography including; commercial, advertising, branding, product and (boudoir which I only shoot through The Adore Girls). I’ve finally settled on what I love the most, photographing women through creative portraiture that builds confidence. This form of photography feeds my need to empower women while I let my imagination run wild with new concepts, sets, and locations.

Beyond photography, I'm married to an incredibly talented musician who also dabbles in wood working when he’s not on tour. Being that we are both artists in our own ways, he supports all my out-of-the-box ideas, from completely redesigning our home to helping me flip our two-car garage into my very own studio space to endlessly create in.

Our family is complete with three cats, who we’re both a little too obsessed with. I also have a healthy obsession with houseplants. With over 100 houseplants that I love to decorate with.

My goal is to always make photo shoots fun and easy, while at the same time creating images that people can’t wait to show off.

My favorite quote is, “I’d rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck” - Emma Goldman

my STUDIO

As a creative person I needed a place to work without the pressure of a commercial lease and the added overhead for my small business. My husband and I are DIY’ers all the way, so we flipped our 2 car garage into a photography studio for me. This project took us about 5 months to complete after stripping it down to the studs, insulating the walls and ceiling, adding heat and air, drywall, windows, sliding glass doors, paint, paint and more paint. Now my commute to work on a typical day takes me less than a minute and I couldn’t be happier to have a bright space to constantly create in…and my plants love it too. Located in Smryna, TN.
